2018 Goals

2017 has been a pretty rough year to say the least, but with the hard times also come a time of growth and self discovery. I am ready to live my best life in 2018 and ready to accomplish all of the goals and plans I have for the coming year. There is so many things I want to do this coming year I figured why not end the year with my list of goals and objectives? 1. The first goal I really want to accomplish is to get my own place again. This year I've been due to illness, living with friends and family and although I am extremely grateful for the kindness of good friends, there are others I have stayed with that have not been so kind, that have kicked us out on the street and have shown me their true selves. So you can say my goal is a new apartment for us asap. Yet I am grateful for the lesson that you cannot expect people to treat you the way you treat them. Here's to new beginnings for 2018. 2. My second goal is to learn as much as I can about blogging while buil

My Review of Cover Girl So Lashy Blast Pro Mascara

The first thing I noticed about the Cover Girl So Lashy Mascara is that it has a very unique 3 wand brush which is different from any mascara I have ever tried. I tried the color black and I really love how dark it makes my lashes look and does make them look alot longer. However, the downside is I did experience some clumping and have some difficulty using the thick wand. The price is affordable and Cover Girl does deliver a quality mascara. This particular one however, was not specifically my cup of tea. I love the bottle and the intensity of color and length but I could do without the clumping. Overall I would give this mascara a 7/10. Reviewing Cover Girl Vitalist Healthy Elixir Foundation

The first thing I noticed about   Cover Girl Vitalist Healthy Elixir foundation is that it has a perfect matte finish. I'm a huge fan of Cover Girl cosmetics since my teenage years and they have yet failed to dissapoint me. This beautiful foundation smells clean and amazing on top of providing me with continuous coverage and a smooth finish. I'm absolutely loving it. This foundation has a vitamin infused formula and special antioxidants. It did not clog my pores. I also noticed that it's perfect for sensitive skin like my own. Overall I would recommend this foundation because it truly delivers what it promises.

My Review of Wet and Wild's Megalast Lipcolor in Cinnamon Spice

First off I want to start off by saying that Wet and Wild has really stepped up their makeup game. They are well known for their low prices and cosmetics that have been around forever. In the past years they have really stepped up and came out with some pretty awesome makeup. I was seeking the perfect Holiday lipstick color and I came across the Wet  and Wild Lipcolor in Cinnamon Spice .    This I have to say is a beautiful color. What I like even more is the fact that this lipstick lasted longer than any other brand of lipstick I have ever bought. The packaging says four hours of continuous wear, however, I noticed that this color lasted over six hours on me. It is a great matte color that does not feel chalky or dry. Just a beautiful matter finish which makes this lipstick my favorite this holiday season. Well done Wet and Wild! XOXO, Norah's Beauty Corner

It's the perfect way to get into the Holiday spirit and bring back that child like love for the holidays we may have lost as adults. So without further a due, here is my top pick for Christmas movies that I watch almost every Christmas season to get myself into the spirit and just to feel good. 1. From working extra hours to make that extra Christmas money to spending time with annoying family members, the holidays can truly burn out the most sane of us. So with that in mind here are my top five tips on How to Self Care this holiday season. The first tip is that you do not have to be all things to all people. It's very important to understand that you cannot pour from an empty cup and that you are not responsible for everyone's happiness. You do not have to say yes to every invitation, you absolutely have the right to say no. You are in the driver's seat of your life and you can pick and choose how you want to spends your time. My second tip is to take time for yourself. You can start by turning off your phone. I promise it will still be there once you are done. But it's ok to disconnect from the world, relax in bed and watch your favorite Holiday movies every once in a w
