2017 has been a pretty rough year to say the least, but with the hard times also come a time of growth and self discovery. I am ready to live my best life in 2018 and ready to accomplish all of the goals and plans I have for the coming year. There is so many things I want to do this coming year I figured why not end the year with my list of goals and objectives?
1. The first goal I really want to accomplish is to get my own place again. This year I've been due to illness, living with friends and family and although I am extremely grateful for the kindness of good friends, there are others I have stayed with that have not been so kind, that have kicked us out on the street and have shown me their true selves. So you can say my goal is a new apartment for us asap. Yet I am grateful for the lesson that you cannot expect people to treat you the way you treat them. Here's to new beginnings for 2018.
2. My second goal is to learn as much as I can about blogging while building my brand. I want to up my blogging game and make this a full time business, and I have faith in myself that I can do this once I learn how to build my brand, social media and just becoming a better blogger in general.
3. This year I would like to stay away from all toxic people. That includes family and friends. I only want to surround myself with people who support my dreams and are truly there for me through the good and bad times. I refuse to be around negative energy anymore or energy vampires.
4. Make self care a priority every day. This year I learned what it feels like to pour from an empty cup, and it is not the greatest feeling. If you don't take the time to care for your needs and yourself first, you cannot possibly give the best version of yourself to other's.
I created The 21 Day Self Care Project as a jump start to my own self-care, and I would love to share what I have learned along the way with others.
So I hope you enjoyed my short list of goals for 2018, what are some goals on your list that you are ready to accomplish?
Happy New Year's
